Fluid Frontier Privacy Policy

Effective 17 September 2026

The short version

Fluid Frontier has no account, no advertising and no tracking. Your words and your photos stay on your device. If you send someone a design with a photo inside it, that design and photo are stored so a short link can be made, then deleted after a year. The website counts visits, with no cookies and nothing that identifies you. The website also has a mailing list you can join.

What stays on your device

Your settings stay on your device. The mood, the palette, the slider positions, the designs you keep, your game scores. None of it goes anywhere else.

What the app collects

The app collects nothing about you, and nothing for advertising or tracking. There is no account, no analytics code inside the app, and nothing about you is ever sold. The app transmits nothing unless you choose to share a design. When you share one, that design is stored on Cloudflare so a short link can be made, and the photo goes with it if the design has one. It is not linked to you and is never used for tracking.

Buying a membership

If you take a founding membership or the lifetime unlock, Apple handles the payment. Fluid Frontier never receives your card details, your Apple ID or your name. Your device checks with Apple whether the membership is active, and that answer stays on your device.

The microphone

Sound mode listens to the room so the water can move with your music. It runs live on your device, and nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. The microphone is used only while Sound mode is on.

Your photos

A photo you bring into the water is read on your device, and nothing is uploaded while you use it. It leaves your device once, when you send someone a design with that photo inside. The design and its photo are stored on Cloudflare so the link can be short enough to send. They are deleted automatically after a year. Nothing else is stored. If Cloudflare cannot be reached, the photo is carried inside a longer link instead, with no server involved. Snapshots and recordings are images you send yourself. Email support@fluidfrontier.app to have a shared design removed before the year is up.

Analytics on the website

The website at fluidfrontier.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and show which parts people use. There are no cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal data and nothing that can identify you or follow you to other sites. The app carries no third-party code for advertising, analytics or tracking.

The mailing list

The website has a mailing list. Joining is optional. Using the app never requires an email address.

The list holds your email address and nothing else. The address is stored on Cloudflare and is used to send news about Fluid Frontier. It is never sold or passed to an advertiser.

Email support@fluidfrontier.app to be removed from the list at any time. Removal takes effect on the day it is asked for.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone. The visit counts on the website hold no personal information. The mailing list is for people aged 16 and over.

Changes

If a future version changes any of this, this page is updated first and the change is noted in the app's release notes.
