Effective 13 June 2026
The Fluid Frontier app has no account, no advertising, and no personal tracking. Your words and photos stay on your device, with one exception that is fully in your hands: when you choose to send a design that has a photo in it, that design is stored briefly so we can make a short link to send (see Your photos). The website counts anonymous visits so we can see what people enjoy, with no cookies, no personal data, and nothing that identifies you.
Your settings (the mood, palette, slider positions, saved designs, and game scores you make) are kept on your own device so the app looks the way you left it. That information never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
Nothing about you, and nothing for advertising or tracking. The app has no account and no analytics built in, and never sells anything. The one thing it ever transmits is a design you choose to send: to make a short share link, that design (and a photo, if it has one) is stored on our Cloudflare, described under Your photos. It is not linked to you and never used to track you. Otherwise the only place anything is counted is the website, described under Analytics below.
The optional Sound mode listens to nearby sound so the water can move with your music. It works entirely on your device, in the moment, and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. The microphone is used only while you turn Sound mode on, and you can leave it off.
If you choose to bring a photo into the water, it is read on your device only and is not uploaded while you use the app. The one time a photo leaves your device is when you choose to send a design that has a photo in it. To make a short, sendable link, that design and its photo are stored on our Cloudflare. Only the design you choose to send is stored, there is no account and no tracking, and it is deleted automatically after a year. (If that service is ever unreachable, the photo instead rides inside a longer link, with no server at all.) Snapshots and recordings are images you send yourself. Either way, you are the one choosing to share that picture.
The website (fluidfrontier.app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which features people enjoy. It is privacy first: no cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal data, and nothing that can identify you or follow you around the web. The app itself includes no third-party SDKs for ads, analytics, or tracking.
The app is suitable for all ages. The app collects no data from anyone, and the website's anonymous visit counts hold no personal information, so nothing personal is collected from children.
If a future version ever changes any of this, the policy here will be updated first and the change will be called out in the app's release notes.
